Women Moving Forward
Determination. Courage. Strength. These are inner qualities that women who come to our programs share. They have survived domestic violence, homelessness, addiction, and other tough challenges. They have taken initiative to begin rebuilding their lives, and are doing what it takes to become self-sufficient, contributing members of society who not only care for themselves and their families, but give back to empower and inspire others to do the same.
How Women Come to our Programs
Women are referred to our programs from our Community Partners. They are organizations serving women and families in transition which provide:
- Shelter and counseling for domestic violence victims
- Transitional housing
- Mental health services
- Recovery programs for alcohol and drug addiction
- Residential treatment for women coming out of prison
